Structural Timber (KVH®)

KVH structural timber is sawn softwood for modern timber construction. KVH is mainly used for timber frame buildings, wall-, ceiling- and roof constructions. KVH by Eugen Decker Holzindustrie KG is available in whitewood (spruce), redwood and Douglas fir.

We are manufacturing KVH for the not visible use according to the classification criteria and characteristic of KVH® structural timber (DIN 4074/S10)

The production of KVH® solid structural timber is subject to strict quality controls. Only companies that guarantee permanent internal and regular external inspections by independent inspection organizations are permitted to produce KVH®. As a consequence, quality controlled KVH® made in Germany is only genuine if it bears this compliance mark.
We are voluntary member of the "Überwachungsgemeinschaft Konstruktionsvollholz e.V." and subject to controls of independent material testing institutes.
Last but not least we are externally controlled by the "Forschungs- und Materialprüfuanstalt Stuttgart" (FMPA).
